FROM MARYLAND BACK TO HK

Several years ago I used to browse the amazingly good website of Hung Yee Wai Edward [ F7 1995 ]. At that time he had just come over to University of Maryland at College Park on many scholarships and awards, to work on his Ph.D. degree. Recently when I re-visited his website again I am so glad to find out that Edward has finished his work, with an M.S. (2002) and a Ph.D. (2005) from Maryland. Congratulations, Edward. Edward is currently an assistant professor at Department of Computing, Hong Kong Polytechnic University. His old and impressive web site was discontinued(?) but a current site that also carries his academic information can be found at http://www.comp.polyu.edu.hk/~csehung.

Dear Mr. Ching,
Sorry that it took me such a long time to write you. What is your secret for
anti-aging? From the pictures on the web site, it seems that you have hardly
changed after twenty some years. You also have a very good memory.
I do not remember the other Yellow House captain. Which year did he
graduate? [ Actually I meant Poon Yau Shun [ F7 1976 ] but then considering your year of graduation I think you should not have met him at CCSC. ]
I learned from your web site that several of the teachers have retired this
summer. Interestingly, I know just about all of them. They have all been
amazingly dedicated teachers. In particular, I have very fond memories of
Ms. Ng and Ms. Su. They were caring, encouraging and supportive during my
years in CCSC. Ms. Ng's my first English teacher in CCSC. She was very
strict and I was scared of her most of the time. However, she was as fun as
can be outside of the classroom. Ms. Su is such a gentle and loving lady.
She inspired me to love music and mostly how to appreciate different types
of music. Do you have their email addresses? I would like to send them a
note and maybe visiting them in HK some time soon.
Again, you have my open invitation to Tampa and we have plenty of room to
accommodate your whole family.
Thanks,
Enoch (Poon Ming Lok)

Hi Poon Ming Nock, How nice to hear from you. I remember you as you
were Yellow House captain too. By the way, I meet another Yellow
House captain in USA (San Francisco)... Do you remember Poon Yau Shun?
He's now living in San Francisco too.
Anyway, thank you for writing to me. Good to know you're in Florida
and near Disney World. If I should be going there I would certainly
get in touch with you, and maybe we can meet. Likewise, let me know
if you're in the Bay Area.
Thanks for the update. If you have some photos please send to me so I
can post them into the web site. Your letter I posted already. Hope
to hear more from you often.

Dear Felix,
Here are the e-mail addresses of Mag Ng and Miss Su:
Miss Ng: magmagng@sinagirl.com
Miss Su: suwuying@sinaman.com
From my phone call to Miss Su, she would like to tell you that she welcomes
her students to contact her by e-mails because she has plenty of time
now after retirement! I think Mag (Ms Ng) also does.
Please write to each of them to test if the e-mail address is reachable.
Maybe you put up their e-mail addreses and mine at your web-site.
My e-mail address is sswat3@gmail.com
Thanks!
Wat
