BAY AREA NEWS
On July 22, the next day after Mrs Sinn had arrived at San Francisco, I had dim-sum lunch with her at Koi Restaurant in Daly City. Later in the evening on the same day, a number of Bay Area CCSC past students also hosted a reunion dinner in her honor at Fook Yuen Restaurant at Millbrae. Among the participants were Tang Kwong Chuen Alex [ F5 1977 ] with his whole family, Lydia Shih [ F5 1989 ], Poon Yau Shun Andy [ F7 1976 ] and wife Chan Yin Man Anna [ F5 1975 ], Chu Tung Nam Tony [ F5 1975 ] and Chan Kwok Kwong Roger [ F5 1976 ] and myself. We had a wonderful time and much chatting. Thanks to Tang Kwong Chuen Alex for coordinating and organizing. It was also a great opportunity for us to meet two past students for the first time in the Bay Area -- Alex and his family, and Lydia. Very nice to meet them indeed. Photos in Family Album P.176.
Mrs Sinn only stayed in San Francisco for two days and would go back to her home in Chicago. She will stay in Chicago for some time because her daughter, Venus, is going to have a baby very soon. Congratulations !!!
Sinn Wai Sze Venus is a CCSC past student. She had completed Form 2 (S2) when the family migrated to Chicago.
 San Francisco
Earlier on July 9, before Mrs Sinn left Hong Kong members of the Class of F5 1977 also threw a farewell dinner party for her. They had learnt that Mrs Sinn had decided to quit her teaching job (in Kowloon) that she's liked so much and would leave HK for some time. They will certainly miss her. Thanks to Siu Man Wai [ F5 1977 ] for sending us the photos. Family Album P.175.

Dear Ching Sir,
I just came back from Hong Kong. Too bad I've missed the recent reunion dinner
and the golden opportunity to meet Mrs Sinn who once taught me Chinese,
Chinese Literature, and Chinese History. How is she doing? Does she live in
Hong Kong? If possible, please send my regards to her.
Once again, thanks to your website, I was able to reconnect with some CCSC
alumni of my age some time ago. Guess what? We've just had a reunion dinner,
after some 15/16 years, in Hong Kong on the 28th of July. They are Cheung Won Ho,
Mok Bing Wah, Lo Tak Sung, Paul Cheng and Monita Yuen (Class of 1984).
We're
all approaching 40 now. It's really amazing when you look back....it's almost like a
dream.....
Regards,
Rebecca

Hello
How do you do? I don't know how to address you!
I am delighted to receive this email from my classmate. I would appreciate
if you can add me to the distribution list.
I have been residing in Australia, Melbourne since 1980. I love Australia
very much and I had been back to HK twice. I will try to visit school when
I next visit HK.
It is sad to learn the sad news about Ms Ng who was my Geography teacher.
Through viewing the photos I realised many teachers who had taught me are
still supporting us/fellows.
Look forward to receiving news from "mother school"!
Best regards
Amy Ngai
Hi Amy,
Very nice indeed to hear from you from Melbourne. If you would like to let us know the Year/Class when you left CCSC, it would be easier for your former classmates to identify you. Providing your Chinese name, recent photos, and an update of yourself, would be even better. It is by the inputs of the alumni (who may know the web site through an old classmate or just happen to find it from a search engine), that we are able to accumulate information about CCSC past students. Please help us to continue to build up this base of alumni updates. We usually put news of school and past students in the Updates section, and the Family Album of the web site. We do keep a list of alumni who we have contacted. But we do NOT have a "distribution list" as such, as we do NOT send out emails or "newsletters" to individuals by email. Instead, we hope fellow alumni will get on to this web site every now and then and browse the updated information. Hope to see you here on line often.
I post this on the web site as I believe the information might be useful to other alumni as well.
Thanks again for writing to us, Amy. Do please keep in touch.

MORE PHOTOS FOR FAMILY ALBUM
I was so happy to have received some photos of Classmates of F5 1975 / F7 1977 in their Reunion, from Kwong Po Keung Patrick [ F7 1977 ] back in January 2004. But since I was having problems with my desktop computer at that time, I just saved the photos on to my laptop and then forgot about it. It is only recently that I remember those pictures and post them on the web site, now on Family Album Page 178. Thank you so much, Patrick, and sorry for the delay. The photos depict how the old classmates look, after having left CCSC for three decades. Among those present in their reunion are: Kwok Shuk Fun, Cheng Mi Yu Ivy and Chung Hau Tim, Chung Yim Ha and Kwong Po Keung Patrick, Tam Kit Wan, Kwan Kit Man, Ho Yiu Ming, and Ng King Por and their families. I remember this class very well, as they are the first Chemistry class I taught in F4(S4) when I first joined CCSC in 1973... and thereafter I taught a number of them all the way to F7 (Biology).
I would also like to thank Tin Shun Kam Raymond [ F4 1989 ] for sending us recent photos he took this summer in North Carolina. Raymond studied in San Francisco State University for his college degree, and then returned to Hong Kong where he became a teacher. He visits USA again this summer.
