FROM OTTAWA
From Ottawa, Chu Chik Chun (Camelia Chow) [ F5 1975 ] finally arrived at San Francisco Bay Area for a brief visit, and stayed for a short time with her classmate and best friend over here, Leung Kwok Ching (Janie Pang). Last weekend Camelia's other classmates joined in for a reunion at Janie's home in Dublin. Among those present were: Poon Yau Shun Andy, Chan Yin Man Anna, Chan Kwok Kwong Roger, Chu Tung Lam and their families, and myself. Here is one of the photos taken at Janie's place. We would like to thank Janie, Jim and family for their hospitality and the delicious food they prepared.

TORONTO and VANCOUVER
It must have been more than a decade since I last heard from Lee Yim Wan Judith [ F7 1977 ] and her husband Yeung Pud Kuen [ F7 1977 ]. They had moved to Toronto more than 15 years ago. Now they are still in Toronto and have three sons, aged from 15 to 9. Last week Judith was going to visit Vancouver, and thought of visiting me as well, since she somehow heard that I lived in Vancouver. I wrote back and told her that I am actually in San Francisco. I directed Judith to try to check out her former classmates Lee Kwok Hey Edward [ F5 1975 ] and others who do live in Vancouver. Judith wrote:

Dear Ching Sir:
Thanks for your quick response. I am disappointed
that I cannot get to see you next week, but it is nice
to hear from you after so many years - it is like
finding a missing link from the past.
I felt sorry that I didn't have your contact
information earlier as I did have the opportunity to
meet with you when I visited San Franciso in 1999 on
my way back from Hong Kong. So far, I have only made
two trips overseas - once in 1999 when I went back to
Hong Kong for my dad's 70th birthday party and
currently for my mom's birthday. Afterall, the kids
are still young and life has been busy with job and
family.
I have three boys - Norman (15 years old), Herman (12)
and Coleman (9). Norman is now in Grade 10, while
Herman and Coleman are in grade 7 and grade 4
respectively. You can see my hands are quite full
with four men at home, i.e. including Max.
After learning the existence of your CCSC web site, I
went on line and found some interesting photos and
names that I used to know so well. I saw the pictures
of Chung Hau Tim when he visited you in San Francisco.
Ivy (Cheng Mi Yu) and Tim were few of our best friends that we lost
contact with - ever since they moved to Australia and we
emigrated to Canada.
Ching sir, if you happen to visit Toronto, please feel
free to contact us.
Our address is: (..............)
Home phone No.: (...........)
I will send you more updates when I am home.
Take care and keep in touch.

CCSC NEWS: LIFEWIDE LEARNING DAY
I am delighted to hear, from two separate sources, latest news and photos of a new outdoor event called "Lifewide Learning Day", held on 14 November, 2003. The information came from Mr K.K.Lai and Mr Siu. Thank you so much, both of you, for generously allowing me to pick pictures from you on-line web album for posting in the web site. Mr Siu also wrote:
".......photos of the school's Lifewide Learning Day, which is the high-sounding new name for the school picnic. This year a Day Camp was arranged for all S4 students while the rest went to customary places, i.e. Pak Tam
Chung & Repulse Bay. I happened to be the form teacher of one of the two S4 classes that went to Wong Yi Chau in Sai Kung, where they took part in some "adventure" activities like climbing a 14-foot wall bare-handed and making and putting to sea a raft using 8 plastic pipes, 4 plastic barrels and a few pieces of rope. "
Mr K K Lai provided us with photos taken at Repulse Bay.
