NEWS FROM ALMA MATER
. . . . [ ADDENDUM: September 1, 2003 ]
We are bringing overseas alumni some important CCSC news at the start of the new school year. Mr. S. C. Leung retires from the office of School Principal, having served CCSC for 26 years in this capacity. He will continue his service as a School Manager.
Mr Leung joined CCSC when the school opened in 1969, first as a graduate teacher in Physics and then Senior Teacher, and in a mere 8 years he was promoted to the post of Principal. During his tenure as the Principal, CCSC has made distinguished achievements. The school has built up an enviable reputation as a well-managed institution that not only manifests academic excellence but also produces brilliant and responsible citizens. The success of CCSC over the last three decades is attributed to Mr Leung's vision and leadership.

It is also welcome news to hear that Mr. Yuen Tze Lam is taking over the principalship from September 1, 2003. Mr. Yuen has worked at CCSC for 26 years, and for the last 11 years he is the Vice Principal. We extend our heartiest congratulations to Mr. Yuen, and we are confident that CCSC will continue to shine and blossom and make further strides ahead under his leadership.

Dear all,
I'm leaving London on 27 August, take up a new job in Harbin,
China. They recruited me as an English teacher, now they like me to
teach AL Chemistry as well, so I'm happy.
Harbin is beautiful but more famous for being freezing cold.
They have the top skiiers of the country. So come to skii any
time.
I'll be living in Harbin University with my own apartment
(electricity and running water) there will be access to
internet. so you won't even notice that I've gone.
Love
Aileer
