Hi Ching Sir:

It's very sad to hear about Mrs.Yuen. She was my geography teacher (and Paul's too) and probably one of my favorite teachers at CCSC.

My family came to the US in 1989 and we've since lived in San Francisco, Cupertino and Sunnyvale. I've been living in/near Berkeley after I graduated from UC Berkeley (BA in English Literature) in 1994. Actually I'm moving this weekend to Albany.

I'm pretty sure we've met while at CCSC. My brother Paul Shih and I were commuting from Tai Po to North Point everyday; I don't think many students were doing that during the time. It's been so long now, but I think you might have taught Chemistry when I was in F3. I had pretty much decided to go into arts instead of science, so I didn't pay much attention to the science classes... sorry!

I haven't been very good about staying in touch with my schoolmates since I moved to the US. I went back to HK for the first time in Dec 1999 and visited CCSC. I still have contact with maybe a handful of people from CCSC... I know, shame on me!

I do have a recent picture with my husband that I can send you. My husband's name is Walter Day and we got married in Nov 1996.

Thanks again for setting up the website! It's so great to hear about the people from CCSC!

Regards,
Lydia

My name was Leung Kwok Ching in Hong Kong. I was one of your students in Cheung Chuk Shan high school. I hope you have some memory about me if you don't I understand completely, for I hardly remember anything that happened over 25 years ago. I know it is bad. But one thing I know I have missed the good time I have in high school. I cannot remember any bad event. This prompt me to locate your web site. Thank you for creating the revenue for old classmate to find or talk to each other. Andy Poon has found me. I have met his family. It was great. I hope I would have a chance to see you and may be you can refresh my memory.

I live in Dublin about 45 mins away from SF. I have moved to the state since 1976; I guess I am one of the early ones who left HK. I finished college in 1982 in CSU, Hayward and became a RN. I have been working in the same trade since then. And I am still enjoyed what I do. What about you?

I'm married and have 2 children 18 and 16. My daughter has started college this summer in Berkeley and my son will be a junior in high school. How about you?

Looking forward for you reply!

Your student still, Janie

PS: By the way, my name is Janie Pang now.

Dear Ching Sir,

[ BACK ]   William Fung, Philip Chan, Charlie Lam, William Chow, Johnny Shih
[ FRONT ]   Teddy Iu, Jackson Ho, Bismarck Kam, Wilson Chan, Willie Tam

Really nice to hear from you and glad that you still remember me. I was told that Miss Wong retired and visited the web site of CCSC. Time flies. We graduates of Form 5 (1980) and Form 7 (1982) still occasionally keep in touch. Please find our photos taken last year. It appears that you have moved to Canada or USA ??

Please keep us posted of any old boys and girls activities.

Regards,
Wilson Chan
