  • For Chung Hau Tim and Cheng Mi Yu Ivy, and Kwong Po Keung and Chung Yim Har, you may have more updated information than me.
I am glad that we still have very close relationship with the 15 Biology classmates of our matriculation year. We have lost all the contacts with the Maths classmates and they have never turned up in any reunion occasions.

I'll take my vacation from 14 Sept to early Oct and spend my time in Vancouver and Calgary. I have been told by Mrs. Sin that Mr. So is now working and living in Calgary. Do you have his contact ? I really hope that I can meet some of the teachers and classmates in Vancouver and Calgary.

I forget one classmate. Lai Wing Leung is now in Los Angels and working the Inland Revenue Department of the States. I have talked to him on the phone 2 or 3 weeks ago advising him of the website that you created - it is a really great work especially for those who are computer blind like me.

THANKS A LOT.

Chan Chun Chung, William

In July 2002 Poon Yau Shun Andy [ F7 1976 ] and wife Chan Yin Man Anna [ F5 1974 ] had met Mrs Sinn, former Chinese teacher, when she arrived in San Francisco. Then Mrs Sinn went on to her home in Chicago, where her daughter (and CCSC past student) Sinn Wai Sze Venus and her husband also reside. On her way back to HK to continue teaching there, Mrs Sinn passes through San Francisco again, and so we met again. This time, in addition to Andy and Anna and myself, we manage to find Yu Kin Keung James [ F4 1973 ] and Chu Tung Lam [ F5 1974 ] as well. What a nice reunion.

Ching Sir,

Thanks for putting together the web page. It is nice to take a stroll down memory lane. There has been changes in CCSC I am sure but good to see some old faces.

I graduated at CCSC in 1978, F7. I was the house captain for Green House during my F6 year. I had been getting a lot of guidance from Ms Winnie Wong, Mrs Yuen at the time just to name a few. I especially remember Mr Wat who was my class master when I was in F1. I was known then by my Chinese name as LAI Cheung Yue.

I went to study in California after I left CCSC. Eventually, I migrated to Toronto, Canada but is now working in Singapore.

I can't say that I remember your face as I was an arts student but I certainly remember the name. Ironically, the face I remember best was the 2 Mr Teng as they regularly came around and check on the length of our hair.

Unfortunately, I do not have much old pictures to share. I have lost most of them over these years. If possible, can you please give me email address to Mr Wat or Ms Wong and ask them to drop me a line if he still recalls who I am.

Best regards and thanks for your effort.

Philip Lai

Then in another follow up email he wrote:

Hi Felix,

I totally agree with you and it actually strike a cord deep in my heart. I enjoy watching Discovery Channel, National Geographic etc because so many of the things we learn in college begin to make sense. I always thought it is because I am older now but actually, putting life examples into text book theories make is to much more real. I am the crazy type that will spend hours trying to figure out how the GPS system works and the math behind it, how/why does radiation damage our body - silly things that most people just accept and use but don't bother with the reason behind.

Fishing and hunting are good hobbies although I personally do not enjoy. I cannot be happy from the suffering of someone else whether it be a fish or an animal. I guess that is why I picked up golf and other ball games. Nevertheless, catching a 40 pound salmon must be exciting. Not many people can have that.

So, where is your next trip? I guess the next long weekend for you should be Thanksgiving, right?

Regards,

-Philip
