WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS
This photo is actually Last Year's Christmas Gathering at my work place. Did the same this year, but photo not yet available.
Ho ho ho...... It is only two days to Christmas when I am writing this update. Wish you all a very Merry Christmas !!! Also wish you all good health and best of everything in the New Year to come.
I wish to thank all those who sent me Christmas greetings, whether e-cards on line, self-designed pics and cards, or on snail mail. They are all so beautiful and nice.... Chong Yee Wai [ F5 1996 ] at Princeton University, sent a good photo of himself, which I am posting here because I think his classmates may want to see how he looks. [ yeewai's homepage ]
Wong Chi Fai Derek [ F7 1986 ] sent a picture of himself with his daughter. With a Ph.D. in Chemistry, Derek is currently working in Hong Kong in environmental protection. He used to be a martial arts (Eagle Claw Kung Fu) practitioner at "Si Fu" level in his spare time. A full version of the picture is on FAMILY ALBUM PAGE 86.
Nice to hear again from Hung Yee Wai Edward [ F7 1995 ]. This winter he is staying on campus at University of Maryland as he is tied up in some work in his research. He is working for a Ph.D. in Computer Science. He said it's not snowing yet over there right now, but it's cold with a temperature around 20-30 degrees (Farenheit). He will go back to Hong Kong next summer. Edward's impressive Web Site can be accessed at http://members.v3space.com/ehung/. In particular, I would draw your attention to Edward's own Love Story he is sharing in his web site -- it's so nicely written, and so incredibly touching. Click on the screen-capture or Click here.
LATEST, DEC 30, 01
Very nice indeed to have met Mrs Sinn, former Chinese teacher and Mrs J Wong (a.k.a. Miss J Ho in the 1970s) current Biology teacher, in San Francisco on December 29, 2001. Both of them are in the Bay Area to visit their families. I also had the pleasure of meeting Venus Sinn, Mrs Sinn's daughter and her husband. Venus was a CCSC past student, she completed Form 2 when the Sinns migrated to Chicago. She and her husband are both working computer professionals. Mr and Mrs Wong are visiting their son and relatives. More Photos in Family Album P.87
MORE UPDATES
It has been some time since the last update (busy... sorry ;-). Here is some more news you may want to know:

I wonder how many of you have as much guts, thoughtfulness and creativity, as Ng Man Ho Eric [ F5 1991 ] does. On November 10, 2001 he threw a BIG party and invited all his friends to a formal dinner. He had been hiding his secret plans from his girlfriend Connie all the while, and then during the party he "suddenly" proposed to her openly, loudly, with love words and love songs, and this was done in front of everybody !!! HOW ROMANTIC !!! Connie was caught totally unprepared. Needless to say, she was so moved that she consented. The two are currently making preparations for their wedding that is going to take place in April 2002. CONGRATULATIONS, Eric !!!
Eric said he hopes he hadn't set a new standard as to how Proposing is to be done.

Cheng Sau Ting Aileer [ F5 1994 ] has terminated her volunteer work as a Chemistry teacher in Kenya. She has now returned to London, UK and is considering what her next adventure is going to be. How about coming over here to teach in USA ? Earlier Aileer sent us a set of photographs of her life in Kenya, including photos she took when visiting the Nairobi National Park. The photos are in Family Album P.84

Yu Siu Wai Thomas [ F5 1988 ] sent some updates of himself:
" ...Big changes happen to me this year.
Firstly, I have changed my job. Now I am working in a very big property developer and management company in HK, as Recruitment Manager (Surveys & Projects). I lead a team of 4 persons responsible for the recruitment of whole company (2,400 employees). I am also in charge of some surveys and special project like Guangzhou project in
Mainland China.
Friends around me keep asking about my love life, and when I am going to get married. Well, to be honest, I am still single and do not have any girlfriend at the moment. So, if you have someone special that you really want to push into trouble, do introduce her to me. I know, I am about time to get married, but I believe I still have some time left. After all, I am not that old.
.....
Merry Christmas and a Peaceful New Year to you all.
Your friend,
Thomas Yu

Thanks to Tin Shun Kam Raymond [ F4 1989 ] for sending us pictures and updates every now and then. Here is a picture of Raymond taken at a camp. He said he has put on a lot of weight since he left San Francisco and came back to work in Hong Kong.
