YES ! It is the San Francisco Bay Area CCSC Reunion.

There was an unsurpassed 73% attendance. We didn't get 100% because a few were either out of town or had to work. It was very nice indeed that we could sit down together at the table and talk, laugh, and reminesce the good old days. A few copies of 25th and 30th Anniversary Magazines were also brought there for those who haven't seen them.

A combination of Japanese, Korean, and Chinese cuisines was served -- Sushi, shasimi (very nice! ), raw oysters, crab and lobsters, tempura, and kim-chi, Korean roast beef, and Chinese style prawns and greens, hot-and-sour soup, and many others.... Delicious, and what's more, it's "all-you-can-eat" !

The Reunion was special in several respects. Recently and all of a sudden we have 5 additions to the San Francisco family: Wong Chi Huen Connie [ F5 1995 ] came over here from Michigan to read her PhD in cell biology at Stanford. Tin Shun Kam Raymond [ F4 1989 ] at San Francisco State University happened to find this web site, wrote to us, and thus "got connected". The same applies to Hung Ho Chak Steven [ F7 1999 ] who arrived in U.S.A. only 3 months ago after finishing Form 7 and is now at Berkeley doing EECS. Carmen Chan [ F1 1992 ] whose home is actually in Los Angeles, has been studying at Berkeley for two years majoring in Economics and Business; she had heard about the reunion and approached me by phone. Sheren Cheung [ F2 1989 ] could not join us because she had to work. It was also high time to welcome Sonia Tsui [ F6 1991 ] back to the Bay Area. The party was also highlighted by the presence of Tong Ka Pui Joan [ F5 1990 ] who had come all the way from New York -- not on business this time, but just to see the old folks and to relax in the California sunshine. And, of course, the working professionals like Chan Yau Kit Tony [ F2 1987 ], Cheung Ngai Peter [ F5 1991 ], Ng Man Ho Eric [ F5 1991 ], Lam Ting Wah Terence [ F2 1988 ], and Tang Po Wan Ariel [ F4 1990 ], are all doing extremely well in the blooming high-tech industry as well as in their investments. Eric, a fishing enthusiast and fanatic himself, bought his own boat a few months ago!

Towards the end of the party, talk had already begun about the next reunion. We hope we can have one towards the end of the year. We should go somewhere outside the Bay area. Of course, the issue is still open to suggestions and planning..... Alumni living outside the San Francisco area are very welcome. Please plan you vacation time and come along with us. :-)

After dinner, Tony suggested to continue their fun at a Karaoke, and the entire group went, except me.... I've got used to retiring to bed early. I am sure they had a good time.

Here are some "statistics" about the attendees [Ching Sir not included in the stats]. Alumni who are expert mathematicians and statisticians:  there is no need to dig out any meaning from the numbers.... they are merely for fun.... :-)
