Update #15. October 9, 1999

SAN FRANCISCO BAY AREA

We are happy to find yet another CCSC'er resident in the San Francisco Bay Area. She is Sheren Cheung [ F2 1989 ] . Welcome to the family, Sheren.

Sheren left CCSC in 1989 after finishing F2 and is now an Architecture major at U.C.Berkeley. She expects to graduate in the year 2000. "I am pretty busy for school lately. I am taking 17 units and work on campus as well... so... trying to keep myself busy." Tang Po Wan Ariel, Li Chun Wai Julianna and herself had been primary school classmates and they came to CCSC together.

"I've never been in your class... so I think you don't know me. Today, Ariel ICQ'ed me and sent me the web site that you made for CCSC. I am so happy about it and it's awful great!  So I decided to send you a message! =)

"I still keep in touch with Miss M. Ng when I went back to HK sometimes or talk to her on the phone.

"Really glad to get a chance to keep in touch with old friends..."

We welcome two more alumni to the Bay Area:

Hung Ho Chak Steven [ F7 1999 ] from Hong Kong and
Wong Chi Huen Connie [ F6 1995 ] from Michigan.

LONDON, ENGLAND

Tsang Mo She Moshea [ F3 1991 ] , "the one and only one who studied in UK", just finished her Master's degree in Computing at Imperial College, London University this September. She was offered jobs both in HK and in UK, which was quite a difficult decision for her because she always loves to go back to HK after study. But she finally chose to join a bank in London as a Market Data Engineer. "I hope that having got some experience in UK, I will be more competitive when I go back to work in HK in the future." Let's wish Moshea best of luck in her new career.

HONG KONG

It is also very nice indeed to hear from Li Hang Wun Raymond [ F7 1992 ] and Lam Ping Ping Peter [ F7 1993 ] in Hong Kong. They are members of the CCSC Medic Group which web site I happened to come across, and thus I had the chance of getting in touch with them again.

Raymond Li writes: " ....exciting for me to hear from you after such a long time indeed. I am not sure if you still remember me. ....you taught me Chemistry in F4 and F5. Actually I remember that you left CCSC after my F6 year. That was 1991 exactly! I subsequently entered The University of Hong Kong to study medicine, and graduated in 1997. I am now working in Chinese University of Hong Kong at Prince of Wales Hospital. I am also doing a part-time Master degree at HKU....."

Raymond had organized two reunion gatherings for all recent HKU medical students coming from CCSC. "We had a very good time chatting about our old school days in CCSC. During the dinner, I initiated the idea of setting up a homepage trying to link up everyone and facilitate better communication between each other."......

".....I will surely visit your page often. I am excited to see so many old faces and hear news about some familiar names. After leaving CCSC, I have not had much contact with the old teachers and friends as everyone is busy. But many of us do treasure the occasional gatherings that we have, e.g. the Anniversary Dinner some months ago. I and other biology group students do have some annual gatherings with Mrs. D. Chan."

Peter Lam, also a medical graduate from HKU, was from the same year as Hilda Li, Trevor Chan, and Hannah Chi at CCSC. "I'm really surprised that you can still remember me, one of the students you taught ten years ago. How come? I believe you must have endless memory, or I did do something wrong with you. :)  " he writes. Peter works in Department of Medicine in Tung Wah Eastern Hospital -- "the nearest hospital from CCSC," he said. He also left a very nice message in the Guest Book.
