Update #14. September 16, 1999

More News from Alma Mater

  • The last academic year before Y2K has just begun in September.

  • CCSC is going to be even better computerized in the new school year. More than 60 new computers (costing over a million HK dollars!) will be added to the Language Lab, Computer room, Library, Staff Rooms, and Special Rooms, and all computers will be linked up by a Local Area Network.

Internet access is possible on these computers.

Notebook computers are available to teachers to bring to classrooms and use in teaching.

In addition, an I.T. personel is hired to manage the network.

  • Mrs Hui Chan Sau Han, who for so many years has been teaching Chinese and Chinese History, and served on the school's Careers Team, retired this summer. We wish her good health and every happiness in her deserved retirement.

  • Mrs S Yuen, former Vice Principal, came to HK from Australia this summer for a visit and met with the old friends at CCSC.

  • As in previous years CCSC continues to score enviable results in the public examinations. Apart from extremely high general performance, four distinguished matriculants got 4 distinctions in the same HKAL exam, and two S5 (Form 5) graduates scored 9 distinctions in HKCEE.
