Merry Christmas
Jot you a line from THOMAS in Christmas 09
( YU Siu Wai Thomas [ F5 1988 ] )
Dear friends in HK & Overseas,
Greetings from Hong Kong and from your crazy friend, Thomas.
This year it was dramatic and tough. I started 2009 at London with one of my best friends, Howard and his family, and then with my dearest cousin, Yvonne & Kevin. The London trip was great. Of course, nothing better than off work and spent 3 weeks at London (yes, just London.) I was exhausted before the holiday due to work and I was just too lazy to move around and visited you all in UK and Ireland. Sorry. But still I was able to meet Mui¡¦s sisters, Emily & Ricky, Christina and had a warm drink in the freezing winter early this year (same as now in Europe).
In May, I was in Toronto for my cousin Terrence & Elaine¡¦s wedding. It was a beautiful trip and I was able to stay in my cousins¡¦ places and able to visit my beloved Godsons, Jonathan and Justin, in Toronto. The 2-week holiday was fantastic and I wonder when¡¦s next (oh my goodness, he is coming again!!) No idea yet.
Church
Being the Windband Leader at my church for second year, nothing big really happened this year. We played a lot in services in big group and in small. We performed lately in Cityplaza Shopping Mall for a 45-min performance during Xmas. You can view the clips on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/yuswthomas#p/u , I was at the far left at the back row in an orange tie. Yes that¡¦s me. Enjoy the music.
Work
Work is tough. I think retail industry especially I am working in a FMCG retailer, the pace of the company and the nature is very fast. Not to mention my team was under staff early in the year and till then, I am still recruiting one more Asst Manager to help me out. Though it¡¦s tough, have a lot to do, I am still very happy to be a member of Mannings (a health & beauty chain) in Hong Kong. (P.s.: Call me on 852-92338883 if you need IKEA discount.)
Well, as we are getting more mature each year, still we can keep in touch and keep our bonding as friends (not just the Facebook one but you can still search me on facebook by my email: tswyu@netvigator.com). I am active on facebook and checking email everyday. I know I have lost contact with a lot of friends lately due to busy at work and try to hook up a relationship but it didn¡¦t work out. Well, now I am back to single and for sure I¡¦ll try to get in touch with you again. Please email me. I promise I¡¦ll reply.
My friend, may I wish you and your family a very Blessful Christmas and your New Year filled with Joy, Love, Health and Peace from above.

Subj: Latest Update about Mr. Michael Law
Dear all,
Glad to let you know that Michael is progressing very well.
Sun & I met him in a Taikoo Shing Restaurant last week. According to his dearest wife, he can walk, talk, write and sing. He can even sing his favorite Cantonese Opera songs.
Remarkable, isn't it? He plays majong with his family each evening to keep his mind active. It is anticipated that he can live a perfectly normal life sooner or later.
I think that his fighting spirit and the love of his family contributed to his unbelievable recovery. There are certainly miracles in our world if we keep trying and won't give up. Perhaps Felix can spread the good news on the CCSC Overseas website & let everyone share the joy of a miraculous recovery - one that occurred within 5 months.
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY 2010
Warmest regards,
Sun & Lan
