BREAKING NEWS FROM HONG KONG
We are most concerned to hear that Mr. Michael Law had a bad traffic accident while in China in early July. He was in coma for more than 10 days, and had immediate brain surgery to stop internal bleeding. After being hospitalized in China for 20 days, he was subsequently transferred back to HK and is currently at Tung Wah Eastern Hospital 東華東院 (政府大球場附近). Now he is in stable condition, and can speak a little and able to take regular food and sit up on the chair with some help. He is undergoing physiotherapy / accupuncture treatment.
Please join us in praying for his speedy recovery, and please give Mr. Law our genuine support.
Mr Law taught Geography at CCSC in the early 1970s for several years, and was then promoted to Principal of Szeto Ho Secondary School. He held this tenure until retirement. Michael always displays a very positive and cheerful personality and is looked upon as a compassionate teacher, a faithful friend, and trusted colleague.
A number of CCSC ex-colleagues will be visiting him at the hospital next week, and we hope they will bring back more good news. We will keep you posted by adding information to this Update.
In the mean time, please continue to pray for him. We have faith that he will soon get well to full recovery.
Get well soon, Michael !!!

We (Mr. T.S. Fung, Mrs Fung, and Mr. Alan L. Chan) had a brief visit to Mr. Law today in Tung Wah Hospital . He is now in a much better condition than first reported.
- He can take normal food by himself
- With help, he can sit up on an armchair
- He can speak a little and threw out some casual smile when I talked to him with stories in the past (apparently the brain injury has had some impact on his speech ability)
- His brain seems fine and he remembers all our faces and names
- There is no medication needed and he now undergoes both physiotherapy and acupuncture treatment in Tung Wah Hospital
- Mrs. Law and family members take daily care of Mr. Law and they expect Law to be back home in not too distant future.
Concerned students and friends who want to send Get-well Cards to Mr. Law, can address the envelope to:
Mr. Michael Law, 9G Wai Sing Mansion, Taikoo Shing, HK,
OR, by email to Mr. Law's sister, who visits him every day
Mr. Law is aware that lots of brothers and sisters and students in CCSC have sent him their good wishes and kind regards. He has written a note of thanks to all of you (see below):
